2 Smoothies to Fight Inflammation and Provide All-day Energy

The Protein Pina-Colada

This smoothie is the ultimate energy-booster. It contains doTERRA’s brand new vanilla protein powder to balance out the tartness of the fruit and add nutritional value. It also has doTERRA Wild Orange essential oil which can be helpful to cleanse and detoxify while also tasting sweet and delicious.

Materials:

1 scoop doTERRA Vanilla Protein powder
A pinch of Cinnamon powder
1 cup coconut milk
½ cup frozen pineapple
½ cup frozen mango
½ cup coconut Greek yogurt
1 banana
2 drops doTERRA Wild Orange oil

Place all ingredients in blender and blend well.

*Looking to add more nutritional content to this smoothie? Simply add 1/3 cup organic spinach or a small handful of microgreens into this recipe and blend together. This would be my recommendation for athletes, moms or anyone who works a demanding job and needs an extra energy boost to sustain them throughout the day.

The Fighter

This smoothie recipe was created by my friend Ellen during her fight against ovarian cysts. She knew that post-surgery she would need something to fight inflammation, recover from the bloating and pain, and decrease the likelihood of having this issue again.

We stand by this excellent smoothie recipe as a source of anti-inflammation oils and herbs. Please consider drinking this daily if you have inflammation in any form: back pain, swelling, aches, slow healing, brain fog, anxious thoughts and skin issues. This smoothie is so powerful.

Also, don’t let the green color fool you! This smoothie is sweet, delicious and crave-worthy.

Materials:

2 drops doTERRA Lemon oil
1 cup frozen mangoes
1 ripe banana
2 cups oat milk
1 cup spinach
1/3 cup microbroccoli (recommended)
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1 teaspoon ground turmeric

*If you’re new to using microgreens, check for them in the produce section of your local healthy grocery store. Microgreens are the small shoots of vegetables like broccoli, kale, sunflowers or peas. The shoots are harvested before they reach full growth because they are actually very high in nutritional content at this stage. Microgreens usually don’t have a strong flavor, so they are perfect for packing a ton of healthy nutrients into a smoothie without it tasting any differently! I suggest microbroccoli in this smoothie but any microgreens will work.

doTERRA Lemon oil is helpful for flushing out toxins. Just 2 drops Lemon oil can be part of a fantastic cleansing regimen. doTERRA Lemon essential oil is recommended for internal use and has supplement facts included on the bottle. It is pure, potent and a part of my everyday health routine!
